The cast of Foz Cataratas Poker Futsal visited the project structure A Kick to the Future, located in the Porto Belo neighborhood, in Foz do Iguaçu, which serves approximately 300 children after school. The entire headquarters was reintroduced to the players and members of the technical committee by the volunteer from the sports center of the Luiz Carlos project, Luizinho.
Foz Cataratas visits the site annually as a work plan to interact and inspire the community's youth. With the mission of transforming the community's reality, the Um Chute para o Futuro project provides opportunities for the development of children and adolescents. This purpose is aligned with the philosophy of Foz Cataratas Futsal.
Learning Exchange – The visit was also a special reunion for player Gustavo, known as Chorão, a pivot for Foz Cataratas who played for the under-20 and adult youth teams and who attended the project in the past, and was now able to see friends and partners again. “It was great to meet up with special people who were part of my story. I am very happy to know that the project is growing and giving more children the opportunity to have the foundation that I had.”, said Chorão.
Project Achievements and History – The project was chosen by the board “One for all and all for one”, from the program Hulk's Cauldron, Globo Television Network, to undergo renovations at its headquarters. With the support of the local government, companies and partners, the initiative stands out as one of the largest in the region and plays an important role in the local community, promoting social transformation and carrying out constant work in search of more partnerships with a view to always improving, expanding activities and maintaining the project as a whole.
The project was created by professor Ronaldo Cleber Cáceres on December 18, 2005. Through sports, the reality of many children in the neighborhood was transformed.
