Sanepar reports that the water pipeline on Lúcio Padilha Street, in Foz do Iguaçu, broke this Wednesday (16). The break may affect the supply in the following neighborhoods: Vila C Velha, Porto Seguro Condominium, Jardim Universitário das Américas I and II, Parque Linear, Jardim Veneza, Jardim Evangélico, Porto Belo, Jardim Itaipu, Jardim Florença, Jardim Itá, Jardim Rosi Magalhães, Jardim Olinda, Jardim Irmã, Jardim Princesa Diana, Jardim Nova Califórnia, Jardim Marisa, Budel Subdivision, Terra Nova and Ecovile Subdivision. The teams are working to repair the pipeline and should complete the work by 16 pm. The supply is expected to return to normal from 18 pm onwards and will be gradual.

Only customers who do not have a water tank in their property will be without water during this period, as recommended by ABNT (Brazilian Association of Technical Standards). Sanepar suggests that each property have a water tank of at least 500 liters. This way, it is possible to have water for at least 24 hours.
