From June 10 to 12, Mexico City hosted the GLI Forum Latam 2025. The event, which discusses how to build sustainable development and promote greater equality between men and women in Latin America, highlighted the participation of María Taratuty. She heads the Institutional Affairs area of the London Supply Group, the company responsible for operating the Duty Free Shop Puerto Iguazú.

Recognized for her innovative leadership in the business sector, Taratuty presented her vision on sustainable development with a gender perspective to the GLI Forum Latam audience. In one of the panels, she shared the pioneering initiatives she leads at the London Supply Group.
First, she explained that sustainability has been incorporated as a central axis of management. She then presented experiences that show how the company operates in strategic sectors, such as duty free shops and airports, and promotes positive social impact. It develops integrated projects in education, health and community development, especially in Puerto Iguazú, Misiones.
Social inclusion and women's networks
In addition to her business activities, María Taratuty also stands out as the head of the London Supply Group Foundation. In this segment, she leads actions aimed at social inclusion and strengthening local communities. She is responsible, for example, for promoting diversity, equity and inclusion policies, reinforcing sustainability as a transversal value in all areas of the group.
Taratuty is also dedicated to building networks among women leaders, promoting the exchange of experiences. In this sense, she works to strengthen impact projects, paving the way for a more representative participation of women in economic and social development.

In addition to María, four other Argentine references participated in the event: Natalia De Vita (leadership coach), Paola García Rey (Amnesty International), Lucía Mauritzen (Chicas en Tecnología) and Rosana Alejandra Barroso (LEA Foundation).
The GLI Forum Latam discusses ways to build sustainable development that is more equal between men and women in Latin America. The organizers hold the event annually in different cities in the region and promote debates on economics, investment and sustainability from a gender perspective. They highlight the role of women as essential agents for social transformation and for achieving global development goals.
