The Argentine Army will carry out a special training operation on the border with Brazil and Paraguay between Sunday (22) and Thursday (26). According to the corporation, the actions will take place in the cities of Puerto Iguazú, Libertad and Wanda.

The coordination of activities will be carried out by the Escuela Militar del Monte, located in the Puerto Península reserve, just outside Puerto Iguazú.
The training includes activities in conjunction with other government agencies and federal forces in Argentina to simulate emergency situations. The work involves coordinating responses to natural disasters and providing support to the civilian population.
“The exercise is part of an inter-institutional training plan,” the military corporation reported. “The maneuvers will take place in strict compliance with current safety regulations and without interfering with the daily activities of residents.”
The Argentine Army, however, asks for the collaboration of the population of the border cities, so that the maneuvers can take place without incidents.
In this sense, the military warns about the circulation of vehicles and troops through municipalities on the Argentine side and requests that “the community remain calm and cooperate with any instructions”.
As a rule, training sessions like the one held in Argentina take place with the consent of neighboring countries. The practice of giving advance notice of maneuvers in border areas is part of the protocol shared between nations.
