Since its origins, Foz do Iguaçu has been a living example of cultural diversity, with indigenous roots from the Guarani and Caingangue peoples.

Immigrants enriched our city with their culinary traditions, music, festivals and crafts, now intertwined in the identity of Foz do Iguaçu.

Today, these influences shape our city, reflected in the stories of residents and descendants of immigrants.

Tourism growth brings environmental challenges and the need for sustainable development.

But our community is united, working towards a more just and inclusive future, with innovative and sustainable solutions.

The majestic and world-renowned Iguaçu Falls exemplify our natural beauty.

Itaipu, the largest hydroelectric plant in the world, symbolizes international cooperation between Brazil and Paraguay.

The Three Borders Landmark celebrates the friendship between Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina, representing fraternity and cultural diversity.

Regional integration is strengthened by the bridges that connect us to our neighbors: the Friendship Bridge, the Fraternity Bridge, and the new Integration Bridge, reinforcing cultural and economic ties.
