Foz launches competition to choose the most beautiful Christmas decoration

The selection is open to residences, businesses, hotels and hostels; the prize money will be R$6 for the winner.

Foz do Iguaçu is accepting entries for the selection of the most beautiful Christmas decorations. Homes, businesses and accommodation establishments are eligible to enter.

The prizes are R$6 for first place and R$4 and R$2 for second and third places. Originality, creativity, visual impact, harmony and aesthetics will be evaluated.

The registered locations will receive a visit from the evaluation committee from December 21 to 27. The results will be announced on January 8, with awards being given on the 17th.

The competition is part of the Christmas Waters and Lights of Foz do Iguaçu. The goal is to recognize the involvement of residents who contribute to beautifying the city for the holidays.

“We seek to promote community creativity, celebrate the Christmas spirit and make the city of Foz do Iguaçu more beautiful for residents and tourists during Christmas,” says Itaipu Parquetec’s Sustainable Tourism Manager, Silvana Gomes.

Safe decoration

Christmas decorations must be safe and comply with electrical and structural standards, the organization emphasizes. The general rules are available in the competition notice.
