Starting this Wednesday, the 18th, a detour will be implemented on the access between the new Brazil-Argentina customs and BR-469 (Mercosul Avenue) in Foz do Iguaçu. The information is from the Paraná Highway Department (DER/PR).

The change is necessary for the progress of the construction of the new customs house located between Brazil and Argentina, which is part of the Perimetral Leste highway of Foz do Iguaçu.

The diversion is expected to be implemented after noon. Vehicles will use an access ramp near the current lane to travel.

The section will be signposted to guide drivers who must drive with attention and caution through the area, reinforces the DER.

The Eastern Perimetral of Foz do Iguaçu includes the paving of 14,7 kilometers of new highway, between BR-277 and the Brazil – Paraguay Integration Bridge.
