In its 25th edition, the Estrelinha Campaign managed to raise R$25,7 thousand, with more than 200 collaborators, for the purchase of 616 gifts.

In addition to CMEI Flor de Lis, students from the Association of Parents and Friends of the Deaf Foz do Iguaçu (APASFI) and the Mãe Maria Early Childhood Education Center (CEI) also benefited from the action.

“This tradition of solidarity, in which employees recommend educational or social institutions, is embodied in the delivery. Seeing the joy of the children makes this action even more special”, says the coordinator of Volunteer Force Program, Jessica Maciel, quoted by Itaipu's press office.

Santa Claus, played by volunteer Marlon Rodrigues, was paired with a giant capybara, the mascot of the Volunteer Force, which entertained the children at CMEI Flor de Lis. Diego Messias, also a volunteer, was in charge of bringing the rodent to life.

“We are very happy to be able to help an institution that does such beautiful work. It is priceless to dress up and bring joy to these children’s Christmas,” said Messias.
