City Hall opens internship vacancies with grants of up to R$1 in Foz do Iguaçu

The city government has opened a Simplified Selection Process (PSS) for paid internships in Foz do Iguaçu to form a reserve list. Students from higher education and technical education are eligible to participate.

Registration is only available online, until June 21st, at: pmfi.pr.gov.br. The preliminary classification will be released on the 26th, with the final result expected to be published on July 2nd in the Official Gazette of the Municipality (DOM).

“The workload and the value of the scholarship vary according to the level of education and the hours of work”, explains the Municipal News Agency (AMN). The workload is defined by the administration’s criteria, according to the needs of each sector, it adds.

The scholarship amounts may reach R$1 for students who work 30 hours a week, up to six hours a day. And the interns hired will receive transportation assistance in the amount of R$220.

The opportunities, according to the notice, are for students of the following courses:

Undergraduate Studies

  • Management;
  • Accounting Sciences;
  • Pharmacy;
  • Public Management;
  • Literature (bachelor's degree);
  • Mathematics (bachelor's degree);
  • Pedagogy; and
  • Tourism.

Intermediate technical level

  • Training of Early Childhood Education and Elementary School Teachers, in the Regular modality (1st to 4th year).

Candidates must access the website, fill in the information and attach the documents – in PDF, JPG or JPEG format – to register. Documentation ranges from official national identification or for foreigners to a recent enrollment statement, among others.
