Do you know the peculiarities of the coat of arms and flag of Foz do Iguaçu? During a visit to the historic center of the city, where it all began, Francisco Amarilla reports that the colors green and white were not chosen at random.

“This green color symbolizes the city’s natural riches, with the white stripes representing municipal power and the activities that form the city’s economy,” explains the presenter.

The city's coat of arms, modified several times over the years, features characteristic elements of the Iguaçu landscape, such as the Friendship Bridge, the Tancredo Neves Bridge, the Marco das Três Fronteiras, the Iguaçu Falls and the Itaipu power plant.

To conclude, Amarilla leaves a question in the air: “now that the Integration Bridge has been completed, will we include it in the new coat of arms, or will it remain like this?”
