When approached at Vila Carimã park, entrepreneur Melissa Brito spoke about the maintenance of the city’s public spaces. Both outdoor exercise equipment and toys are rusty or broken. “It’s very easy for someone to get hurt, especially children,” she explains.

Still on the subject of maintenance, Melissa drew attention to mosquitoes: “Not even repellent can do the job, so you can’t go to the park for long periods of time, we’re even afraid of getting [the mosquito that carries] dengue fever.”

Concluding the interview, he asked for speed in public works. In the same region, work is underway to widen Avenida das Cataratas (PR-469) and build a viaduct at Trevo Carimã, which provides access to Argentina. “It is an investment for the future, but it must be speeded up so that we can live in the best possible way.”

The comment is part of the 20 surveys in the special edition of the city's 110th anniversary. Until the 30th, there is exclusive content that goes back to the history to then build the future of Foz do Iguaçu.

Each survey was conducted at different locations, with people of different identities. This demonstrates the plurality and common interests of residents.

    Good day.
Not only does the Vila Carimã park need renovation, all of them should undergo renovation. I live in Panorama, there are 4 parks near me and the only one that is still intact is the Plaza de la Biblia, in the Argentine Republic.
