Music teacher Aura Alejandra Espitia Saavedra answered the portal's question H2FOZ “What needs to be improved in Foz do Iguaçu?” The statement begins by drawing attention to cultural policies, the opening of a municipal theater and cultural centers in remote areas of the city.
“We need cultural spaces to be beneficial for everyone,” she says. Aura is Colombian and came to Foz do Iguaçu to study music at Unila. She cites her own example as someone who needs a space to work. “It’s wonderful to be able to watch opera, singing, theater, music, ballet, among other artistic activities that take place here”, he explains.
Concluding his response, he thanked the people for their kindness when he arrived in the city. “The people here in Foz welcomed all these people who came with open arms… I hope this multiculturalism continues like this forever,” he said.
The survey is part of the Special Edition for the city's 110th anniversary. Until June 30th, there will be exclusive content, with interviews, special articles and photo essays.
Each statement was collected at different points in the municipality, with people of different identities. This shows the plurality and common interest of the residents.
