Inclusion is the word that sets the tone for activist Blanca Halice’s testimony. The first highlight is in relation to employment opportunities for marginalized people, especially LGBT people and people with disabilities. “Many transvestites and transsexuals find themselves in prostitution because they don’t have a job opportunity,” she explains.

She also calls for improvements in health and education, and reinforces the desire for a more humane Foz do Iguaçu that truly embraces diversity. Blanca ends her comment by wishing for “respect, equality and love for others.”
