Approached at the Urban Transport Terminal (TTU) by the team of H2FOZ, worker Nilton Bernardo gave his opinion on what is missing and what the challenges are for Foz do Iguaçu, in the month of the anniversary of the Land of the Falls.

In Bernardo's view, there needs to be greater proximity between the political class and the population, with a more constant presence of authorities on the streets, to closely monitor the needs of citizens.

“There’s a lot missing. We need a good mayor, a mayor who helps, who takes care of the city, right?” says the worker. “A mayor who goes to the villages, visits the villages, visits the people.”

In his speech, Nilton Bernardo mentions problems such as the lack of maintenance, visible in aspects such as weeds and dirt in various parts of the urban perimeter. Even so, he sees signs of improvement.

“Foz do Iguaçu has been growing well for some time now, and now it’s getting bigger, it’s becoming more beautiful, and a lot of buildings are being built in the city,” he says. “But it needs to be more careful, the city and the streets need to be cleaned up.”

  1. Myrtle of light

Well, what a surprise that the public administration has abandoned this city. What a shame! That includes the councilors too!
