With the aim of bringing women closer to cooperatives, Sicredi Vanguarda held the fourth edition of Envolvidas in Foz do Iguaçu, with debates on leadership, gender equality and empowerment in the most diverse areas of women's personal and professional lives.
The event, which took place on Monday, the 28th, brought together more than 1.300 women from the West Region, Sicredi Vanguarda's area of operation, and was led by image strategist and speaker Leila Ama.
For her, it was a great pleasure to participate in the event. “I love women, and my biggest dream, in fact, is that they can occupy this place in the world that is only theirs. I truly hope that they took a seed home and that within this seed, this spark, they can ignite this understanding that the power is within”, celebrates Leila.
Sicredi Vanguarda President Aldo Dagostin emphasizes the importance of the event for the cooperative. “Vanguarda knows the importance and strength of women, and that is why we invest in promoting events like Envolvidas, where we bring together our associates to talk about important, current and empowering topics.”
For him, seeing the house full indicates that the cooperative is on the right track and that women are seeking and occupying more leadership spaces in society.
Social stamp
In addition to providing knowledge, Envolvidas also has a social aspect. One of the projects included is Café Onco Foz, which serves patients at the Costa Cavalcanti Hospital in Foz do Iguaçu. Another front is the collection of essential materials for patients undergoing cancer treatment.
For this reason, Envolvidas had the Colmeia do Bem campaign, which aimed to support the institution by selling the mascot of the A União Faz a Vida program: the little bee. A total of 50% of the value of each plush toy was donated to Café Onco Foz, in addition to voluntary donations via PIX.
Women's Committee
Envolvidas was born from the Women's Committee – which aims to empower women and train leaders, creating paths and opportunities for women to be at the forefront of Sicredi's business.
Cinthia Zaurizo Negri, a member of the Women's Committee and the event's organizing committee, emphasizes that Envolvidas is the embodiment of female strength for Sicredi. “Within the idea of the event, we thought of bringing something grand, something special for the guests,” she comments.
Envolvidas has already brought to the stage other relevant names on the national scene. In 2019, journalist Gloria Maria gave a lecture to 1.800 women and highlighted how overcoming obstacles can be a key to development.
In 2020, it was actress Denise Fraga's turn, who spoke about human connections in digital times, to an audience of five thousand women online. In 2022, actress Bruna Lombardi participated in the event with speeches about female power to an audience of 1.500 women.

They could open these events to the general public AND ADVERTISE THEM MORE... I'm an entrepreneurial woman and I would have loved to have gone. The articles here only show events after the date, seriously!
