Agrinho 2025
The Agrinho Program, a social initiative of the FAEP System, will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2025 with the theme “Celebrating the rural-urban connection” and awards in 15 categories. The closing ceremony will be held on October 20th at Expotrade Pinhais, in the RMC. For more information, check the regulations on the website sistemafaep.org.br/agrinho.

Force
The União Brasil-Progressistas Federation brought together around 500 political leaders in Curitiba to demonstrate its strength in the state. During the event, Congressman Ricardo Barros (PP) announced the ambitious goal of electing 100 mayors in the next elections, taking advantage of the base of 84 mayors already affiliated and the support of hundreds of city councilors.

In Ponta Grossa, President Lula (PT) and Governor Ratinho Júnior (PSD) signed contracts for lots 3 and 6 of the new toll system in Paraná. The concessions, won by the companies Via Araucária and EPR Litoral Pioneiro, foresee investments of R$30 billion, with construction starting in 2025.

Recognition
Deputy Alexandre Curi, president of the Legislative Assembly, paid tribute to the work of Rotary in Paraná during a special session at Alep. Curi highlighted the fight against polio and the social projects developed by the 258 clubs spread across the state.

Connected Education
On the 253rd anniversary of Guaratuba, the city government launched the Connected Education project, which will bring high-speed internet to all municipal schools. The initiative, financed with its own and federal resources, seeks to modernize public education in the city.

Towards COP30
Guaratuba will also host the Climate Change and COP30 Seminar in May. Organized with the support of the State Secretariat for Sustainable Development, the event will bring together authorities, experts and civil society to discuss environmental strategies in preparation for COP30 in Belém.

New Orla
On May 2, the city government of Guaratuba will present to the public the project to revitalize the city's waterfront. The proposal includes urban redevelopment and environmental preservation actions and is part of the celebrations for the city's 253rd anniversary.

Renovated Gym
The Campo Mourão city government inaugurated the renovation of the JK Gymnasium, with investments of R$2,3 million. The improvements included the sports court, bleachers and lighting system, reinforcing the space for sports practices and community events.

National Highlight
Curitiba stands out with the second highest sidewalk coverage among Brazilian capitals, with 90% of urban roads covered, according to the IBGE. Only Florianópolis surpasses this index. This figure is the result of public policies focused on mobility and accessibility.

Biggest Summer
Investments in the Verão Maior Paraná program exceeded R$698 million on the coast. The actions benefited cities such as Matinhos, Guaratuba and Pontal do Paraná, with improvements in infrastructure, security and tourism, in addition to 14,5 thousand environmental licenses.

Outgoing
A delegation from the Maringá city government visited Ponta Grossa to learn about innovation and sustainability projects. Mayor Elizabeth Schmidt (UB) welcomed the team, which intends to adapt urban mobility and environmental management initiatives to Maringá.

Adjustment in Accounts
Governor Ratinho Júnior (PSD) intends to propose a ceiling for constitutional transfers to the Court of Justice, Legislative Assembly and Public Prosecutor's Office of Paraná. The measure, which aims to balance the state budget, promises to generate intense debates in 2025.
