Jewel of Paraná
Pontal do Sul Beach, in Pontal do Paraná, was featured in the ranking of the 200 best beaches in the Americas and the Iberian Peninsula, compiled by CIF Playas. It ranked 126th overall and 27th in Brazil, beating out famous destinations. This recognition reinforces the tourism and environmental potential of the Paraná coast.

The Moegão project in Paranaguá is already 52,5% complete and is considered the largest public port project underway in Brazil. With an investment of R$653 million, the project will integrate 11 terminals and increase rail capacity by 60%. The new structure is expected to reduce urban rail crossings from 16 to five. Completion is scheduled for December 2025.

Operation Corpus Christi
The PRF's Corpus Christi 2025 Operation begins this Wednesday (18) and continues until Sunday (22) on federal highways in Paraná. The action takes place amid a 15,4% increase in traffic deaths this year compared to 2024. From January to May, 262 fatal victims were recorded on Paraná's roads.

Zero dose
The Ministry of Health has included Paraná in the “zero dose” strategy against measles, aimed at babies aged 6 to 11 months. The measure will be applied in border cities and tourist destinations in the state. The action seeks to contain the spread of the disease in the Americas. The dose is extra and does not replace the regular vaccines.

Paving and infrastructure
The State Government announced more than R$222 million in investments for 29 municipalities in Paraná through the Asfalto Novo, Vida Nova program. The actions include paving, public lighting, daycare centers, warehouses, sidewalks and other urban facilities. The releases of funds benefit regions of Amepar, Comcam, Amocentro, Amusep and Amsop. The funds will be released upon presentation and approval of the projects.

Amepar and Comcam
At Amepar, 14 cities will receive R$117,7 million, of which more than R$104 million will be for paving alone. At Comcam and other regional associations, 15 municipalities will have access to R$105,8 million. Campo Mourão, Campina da Lagoa, Iretama, Araruna, Ubiratã and Roncador are among those receiving funding, with projects ranging from new asphalt to the construction of daycare centers and libraries.

Cooperative meeting
The traditional State Meeting of Paraná Cooperatives will be held on November 28th, at the Carambeí Historical Park. Promoted by the Ocepar System, the event celebrates the sector's achievements in 2024. It is being held in partnership with Frísia, which will be celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025. The schedule will be announced soon.

AquaFoz
The Water and Land Institute (IAT) has granted the Operating License for AquaFoz, the aquarium in Foz do Iguaçu, scheduled to open in September. The project, with an investment of R$100 million, combines tourism, sustainability and environmental research. Located near the Iguaçu National Park, it will generate up to 300 direct jobs.

Safe city
Paraná recorded a 30,6% drop in intentional homicides in the first five months of 2025, with 540 cases, the lowest number since 2009. The rate fell to 4,54 per 100 inhabitants, a historic record for the period. In addition, 288 municipalities did not record any homicides this year. Operation Safe City has been fundamental to this reduction, operating in 87 cities.

Volvo Penta is launching the G13 in Brazil, its first engine for generators powered by biogas, biomethane or natural gas, ideal for rural properties that produce their own fuel. Manufactured in Curitiba, the 13-liter engine offers high performance and significantly reduces pollutant emissions. This innovation promotes renewable and sustainable energy, transforming organic waste into a clean source of energy.
