EPR Iguaçu took over services on the Lote 16 highways this Friday (6), which total 662 km and cross 31 municipalities in Paraná. The company offers medical care, mechanical assistance and traffic inspection, replacing DER/PR. The contract provides for R$13 billion in investments over 30 years.

The TCE-PR published Technical Note No. 33/25 to guide the 399 municipalities of Paraná on the correct application of the Pix Amendments. ethanol plant
Governor Ratinho Júnior has issued the Installation License for Coamo's billion-dollar plant in Campo Mourão, which will produce 765 liters of ethanol per day. The sustainable project is expected to begin operations in 2026 and create jobs in the region.
In New York
The mayor of Londrina, Tiago Amaral (PSD), was in New York this week to participate in Brazil Week, an event aimed at promoting the socioeconomic potential of Brazilian cities. 6G technology
Brazil has begun preparations for the arrival of 6G technology. Anatel announced that it will open a public consultation in August on the 6 GHz band, with an auction scheduled for October 2026. The estimated investment is R$50 billion, with a focus on expanding connectivity.

6G will bring native integration with artificial intelligence, revolutionizing communication between people and machines. The network will enable applications such as self-driving cars and advanced automation. Anatel intends to include social compensation in the auction to expand coverage in areas currently without access.
No Discount
The Minister of Social Security, Wolney Queiroz, stated that the end of the revalidation of INSS discounts in 2022, during the Bolsonaro government, facilitated billion-dollar frauds. According to him, “100% fraudulent” companies took advantage of the period to accredit themselves and apply undue discounts. The statement was made in the context of Operation Sem Desconto, which investigates the scheme.
