Humanizing Politician
Governor Ratinho Junior was awarded the Humanizing Politician award during the 6th International Congress of the New Era of Education, in Curitiba. The recognition came after Paraná achieved 1st place nationally in the Ideb. He highlighted actions such as Educa Juntos and air conditioning in classrooms.

Educate Together
Governor Ratinho Júnior attributed the first place in the State's Ideb to actions developed in Paraná such as the Educa Juntos program, a partnership with municipalities to strengthen literacy and elementary education. The initiative offers materials, assessments and ongoing training for educators.

rural real estate
The Chamber of Deputies approved Bill 4497/24, which facilitates the regularization of rural properties in border areas, allowing for signed declarations when official certificates are not available. The proposal, by Congressman Tião Medeiros, will be sent to the Senate. The text also authorizes the regularization of large properties even with indigenous demarcation processes underway.

Cost reduction
Governor Ratinho Júnior signed decree 10.255/2025 to reduce non-essential public spending, with an expected impact of R$2,3 billion. The measure aims to maintain the maximum grade of A in the Payment Capacity Index (Capag), ensuring better fiscal management. The reprogramming of expenses will be carried out by the departments, without affecting essential services. The state budget for 2025 is R$78,6 billion, the largest in history.

Agricultural development
The Government of Paraná has begun visiting cooperatives in the state to strengthen projects aimed at developing agriculture and livestock. Among the announcements are R$3,7 billion in rural road works and actions to expand the use of renewable energy, through RenovaPR. The agenda includes meetings with leaders until this Friday (13).

Trade surplus
Paraná recorded a trade surplus of US$98,8 million in May 2025. Exports totaled US$1,8 billion, with emphasis on soybeans, chicken and corn. Imports totaled US$1,7 billion, mainly diesel oil and fertilizers.

Fall
Despite the positive balance, there was a drop in exports of poultry meat (-20,9%) and soybeans (-51,4%) compared to May 2024. On the other hand, sales of residual oil, automobiles and pork increased. Trade with Asian countries grew significantly.

Among the best
UNILA received a score of 4 (out of 5) in the IGC 2023, for the seventh year in a row, with 3,6440 points in the continuous index. The University is among the 30 best in the South of Brazil and ranks 11th in Paraná. In Foz do Iguaçu, it is the second ranked institution among the institutions evaluated. The result reinforces the academic quality, with emphasis on the faculty and the performance in Enade.

Tourism
The Government of Paraná created the Declaration of Attraction of Relevant Tourist Interest, which allows state resources to be allocated to tourism ventures in public or private areas. The initiative strengthens the sector and boosts regional trade. Interested municipalities and entities must submit their proposals directly to SETU, according to criteria to be regulated by the department.

Public contest
Unicentro has opened a public competition with 38 vacancies for non-tenured professors on the Guarapuava and Irati campuses. Salaries range from R$2.813,86 to R$16.565,27, depending on the title and work regime. Applications are open until June 30, with a fee of R$240. The opportunities cover several areas, such as Medicine, Psychology, Law and Pedagogy.

Digital channels
A survey by Febraban shows that 82% of banking transactions in 2024 were made through digital channels, with a focus on mobile phones, which accounted for 75% of the total. Mobile banking totaled 155 billion transactions, 15% more than in 2023. Pix had 25 billion transactions via mobile phones, with an average of 55 per month per user. Physical channels, on the other hand, fell to just 5% of transactions.
