Voters have until May 8 to obtain, transfer or regularize their Voter Registration Card if they wish to vote in the 2024 Municipal Elections. After this date, voter registration will be closed due to the preparation of the voting logistics for the election. From next Monday (22) until May 8, the 28 Electoral Forums of Paraná will have extended hours, from 9 am to 18 pm.

Ideathon
The Colégio Agrícola da Lapa, in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba (RMC), hosts this Saturday (27) the first of a series of events of the Ideathon project, which encourages young people to develop new ideas and solutions for the real problems of the state's agribusiness.

Ideathon II
In partnership with the Faep/Senar/PR and Sebrae/PR systems, students from 26 agricultural and forestry schools in Paraná, divided into teams, will participate in challenges, with the aim of thinking together of viable solutions for situations involving the sector and transforming them into businesses.

Against dengue fever
Another 101 cities in Paraná will receive the dengue vaccination. The municipalities are part of the scope of the 1st Health Region of Paranaguá (seven municipalities), 10th RS of Cascavel (25 municipalities), 12th RS of Umuarama (21 municipalities), 15th RS of Maringá (30 municipalities) and 20th RS of Toledo (18 municipalities). The target audience for immunization includes children aged 10 to 14.

ExpoFrísia and Digital Agro
The 17th edition of ExpoFrísia and the 7th Digital Agro are taking place simultaneously in Carambeí. The events offer the public an exhibition of dairy cattle and solutions for agribusiness that meet the dynamics of the field with sustainability, innovations and trends for digital agriculture and livestock. The fair is held by Cooperativa Frísia with technical support from Fundação ABC.

Harvest
Paraná begins harvesting its second crop with prospects for record bean production. The expected volume is 774 thousand tons in a record area of ​​402 thousand hectares, 36% higher than the second crop of 2022/2023. If confirmed, it should be one of the largest bean productions in the state.

Artificial intelligence and health
The PETRUSHKA study, a project developed by the University of Oxford (England, United Kingdom), is recruiting patients suffering from depression for free treatment and participation in an international study. The study carried out by UEL foresees the use of a technological tool using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to analyze the indication of the best pharmacological process.

Group
Interested individuals must be between 18 and 74 years old, have symptoms of the disease, be undergoing treatment or not, and agree to participate in the research. Candidates can access the project link (available on the UEL website) and fill out the form with their information. In Londrina, 150 patients will be recruited. All will undergo a detailed medical consultation.

Electoral system
The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) relies on the support of entities to monitor electoral systems. Check out: political parties, federations and coalitions, OAB do Brasil, Public Prosecutor's Office, National Congress, CGU, PF, Brazilian Computer Society, Federal Council of Engineering and Agronomy, CNJ, National Council of the Public Prosecutor's Office and TCU.

Electoral system II
The following institutions are also considered capable of carrying out inspections: the National Confederation of Industry, other members of the Industry System and corporate entities belonging to the S System, private Brazilian non-profit organizations with notable performance in inspection and transparency of public management, accredited by the TSE and information technology departments of universities also registered with the Electoral Court.

rural entrepreneurship
Rural entrepreneurship in Brazil has been given a new boost. This April, the National Congress launched the Mixed Parliamentary Front for Rural Entrepreneurship – FPAER, which aims to provide and expand public policies to encourage the sector, especially improving legislation regarding rural entrepreneurship.
