Walmor is the honoree of the special video that uses photos of the Foz do Iguaçu carnival, animated by artificial intelligence, to bring the past a little closer.
According to the historical research of Marcos Kidricki Iwamoto, King Momo Walmor's career began in 1974, at Clube Gresfi.
The monarch attended practically all the festivities in Foz do Iguaçu, such as the dances at Floresta Clube, Oeste Paraná and Country Clube.
After the peak of carnivals in clubs, Walmor also made his presence felt at street dances, such as the Carnaval da Saudade.
Always accompanied by his wife, Maria Maciel, King Momo led groups such as Vamos Animar and Bloco da Skol, famous in Foz do Iguaçu. In 2025, Walmor will be the guest of honor of Bloco do Papai Urso.
“We would like to thank you for your kindness, your joy and for being a zealous guardian, not only of the key to the city, but of the rhythm of our hearts,” says the narrator of the video, expressing the feelings of thousands of partygoers.
