Domestic violence

Also on Monday, Tiradentes holiday, the Municipal Guard responded to two more incidents of domestic violence in Foz do Iguaçu. In one of them, there was also a breach of protective measures.

The team helped a 35-year-old woman, who said she had been attacked by her ex-partner, aged 42. The man had allegedly applied a “mother naked choke” to her and fled.

With the description of the attacker, the agents patrolled and located him. He “was in a nearby store”, in the Civic Center region, said the Municipal Guard.

The man had already been arrested for the same crime, last week, on the 17th. He was taken to the police station for domestic violence and failure to comply with a protective measure.

And on Rua Esmeralda, in Jardim Ouro Verde, a 60-year-old woman called the team after being attacked by her husband, also 60. He tried to strangle her, the victim reported.

Bruises remained on the woman's neck and other parts of her body. This was due to her husband dragging her across the floor, the Municipal guard.
