Attractions and hotels in Foz do Iguaçu and Puerto Iguazú are among the 2025 nominees World Travel Awards (WTA), the “Oscar of Tourism”. The award, which is now in its 32nd edition, recognizes the highlights of the tourism sector across the planet.

According to the list, the Iguaçu Falls, shared by Brazil and Argentina, are competing in the category of Best Attraction in South America. Blue Park, in Foz do Iguaçu, is one of the five finalists in Water Parks.
In the hotel industry, Wish Foz do Iguaçu is listed in the Events Hotels and Resorts for Families. Bourbon Cataratas, in turn, competes in Resorts for Families.
The Gran Meliá Iguazú, in Puerto Iguazú, appears in the Green Hotels category (Green Hotels) and Best Resorts. Another Argentine border hotel competing for the title of best resort it's the Iguazu Grand.
All nominations are part of the South American regional awards, in separate voting by continent.
In material sent to the press, Blue Park's press office highlighted the nomination of the Foz do Iguaçu water park among the best.
“At Blue Park, we seek to deliver a memorable experience, combining nature, fun and excellent service”, explained Mabu Group CEO Luciano Motta.
