According to the State News Agency (AEN), the declaration opens up a series of opportunities for registered businesses.
Attractions considered relevant, in public or private areas, will be certified to receive state funds. To do so, they will have to meet criteria established by Setu, the department responsible for regulation.
“The decree represents the definitive consolidation of regional tourism, through our regions and tourist territories, which will have resources to promote the attractions we have in Paraná”, assesses the head of the Tourism Secretariat, Leonaldo Paranhos.
According to Paranhos, the proposal seeks to generate income through various products and attractions, with the exchange and commercialization of regional items in different territories of Paraná.
In the secretary's assessment, this strengthens industry, services and other segments, as well as contributing to offering quality infrastructure and attracting more visitors.
The certification may include historical, cultural, natural, gastronomic, architectural and religious attractions, as well as projects that drive innovation.
Priority for attractions
Once certified, the enterprises will have priority in the Annual Budget Law (LOA) for the implementation of policies aimed at improving tourism infrastructure.
In the case of private areas, the decree provides that the transfer of public resources occurs through public-private partnerships.
The values may result, for example, in the improvement and conservation of access routes to tourist attractions, such as roads, highways, trails, paths and other routes.
In addition, uses include identifying new areas and structures and renovating existing spaces. Qualifying professionals, holding events and installing signage are also possible uses for the resources.
According to Setu, requests for certification of attractions must come from municipalities or institutions that represent the tourist territory. The evaluation of requests will be the responsibility of the department's technicians and the State Tourism Council.
