One of the changes, according to the festival's creator, Paulo Angeli, has to do with the name. From now on, the event will use the brand Cataratas International Tourism Festival (FIT Cataratas).

“It is already very common for people to refer to the festival as FIT Cataratas. This change reinforces the internationalization of our event,” explained Angeli.

Director of FIT Cataratas, Mayara Angeli, detailed the nomenclature and visual identity. According to Mayara, the logo highlights a living ecosystem between nature, culture, business and innovation.

“She translates the festival as a bridge between the trade tourism and the world, connecting experiences, cultures and business”, summarized the director, quoted by the press office.

About the Falls Festival

The 20th edition of FIT Cataratas will take place between June 4 and 6, 2025 in Foz do Iguaçu. The event's program will include an exhibition, lectures, business rounds and parallel activities, such as the Iguassu International Tourism Forum.

The festival is organized by De Angeli Eventos & Empreendimentos, with sponsorship from Fundo Iguaçu, National Confederation of Commerce of Goods, Services and Tourism (CNC) and Fecomércio PR.

The event also has institutional partnerships with the City of Foz do Iguaçu, Viaje Paraná and the Government of Paraná, through the Department of Tourism.

The list of strategic supporters includes several entities in the sector, such as Braztoa, Visit Iguassu, Comtur, Sindetur, Singtur Foz and Idestur. In addition, the State University of Western Paraná (Unioeste) supports the event.
