The hotel industry in Foz do Iguaçu will have, in the 2025 edition of the Corpus Christi holiday, an average occupancy of 76%, according to estimates from the sector itself.

According to Hotel Union (Sindhotéis), the percentage includes reservations already made, up until this Tuesday (17), for the period between June 19 and 22.
The most sought after hotels in Foz do Iguaçu, according to the survey, are in the category resort, with 85% projected occupancy.
Next come three-star hotels (80%), four-star hotels (78%), two-star hotels (75%) and five-star hotels (63%). Sindhotéis reports that the designation of stars used in the survey is merely illustrative.
Compared to the same holiday in 2024, the entity points to an 11% growth in reservations in Foz do Iguaçu. On that occasion, the date also fell on a Thursday, benefiting domestic tourism.
Corpus Christi usually attracts a predominantly national audience, as Paraguay and Argentina do not consider the date a holiday.
Tourism in Foz do Iguaçu
For the long Corpus Christi holiday weekend, the city's main attractions will have extended opening hours, such as the Iguaçu National Park. The park that houses the Falls will open earlier, from Thursday to Sunday, from 8 am.
It is worth remembering that Foz do Iguaçu will have a series of holidays for the population. In addition to Corpus Christi, June 24 is a municipal holiday in the Land of the Falls, in celebration of Saint John the Baptist.
In Paraguay and Argentina, commerce and tourism will operate normally on Thursday (19). Argentina, however, will have a national holiday on Friday (20), in honor of the historical hero Manuel Belgrano.
