O Viale Hotels Group announced last week the expansion of its hotel activities in Foz do Iguaçu. In addition to investments in existing units, the conglomerate acquired a traditional hotel located in the city center.

According to the Viale Group's press office, the former Hotel Lanville, located on Avenida Jorge Schimmelpfeng, will become part of the Viale chain. The building, one of the icons of the Foz do Iguaçu hotel industry, is already undergoing renovation and modernization of its structure.
Viale Tower, which is also located on Avenida Jorge Schimmelpfeng, will gain a second tower, with 75 more apartments and a new leisure area.
Viale Cataratas, located on Avenida das Cataratas, the main tourist corridor in Foz do Iguaçu, is undergoing renovations. The work aims to optimize leisure and entertainment spaces, as well as expand the events center and renovate part of the apartments.
Another unit of the chain, the Double Tree by Hilton, near the Catuaí Palladium Shopping Mall, will gain an events center for up to 800 people. The restaurant will also undergo renovation. There will also be a room gamer, equipped with cutting-edge technology.
Finally, Viale Iguassu, next to Cataratas JL Shopping, will receive improvements to its reception and façade. According to Grupo Viale, the investments in all units in Foz do Iguaçu, combined, amount to approximately R$90 million.
