Check out the October action at Foz do Iguaçu attractions

In Iguaçu National Park, more than 167 thousand people visited the Falls; Parque das Aves had a historic month.

In the 31 days of October, 167.047 Brazilians and foreigners visited Iguaçu National Park, the main indicator of tourist activity in Foz do Iguaçu. Since January, there have been 1.510.477 visitors.

According to concessionaire Urbia Cataratas, Brazilians accounted for 53,8% of demand in October, with 89.935 tickets sold. People from Paraná led the way (35.117), followed by people from São Paulo (20.090).

Foreigners totaled 77.112 visits. The countries that sent the most travelers, after Brazil, were Argentina, the United States, Paraguay, Germany, Spain and France.

One of the highlights of the month was Children's Day weekend (October 12 and 13), when 21.504 people visited the park, surpassing the initial expectation of 15 and participating in themed activities aimed at young visitors.

Bird Park

In the month in which it celebrated its 30th anniversary, Parque das Aves broke its visitation record for October: 87.707 people, a figure 5% higher than the 83.617 visits of the best October so far, in 2019.

The movement was driven by the campaign that gave free access to residents of Foz do Iguaçu for 31 days of the month. As a result, 16.012 residents in Foz took advantage of the promotion, corresponding to almost 20% of the total demand.

Landmark of the Three Borders

At the attraction located at the confluence of the Iguaçu and Paraná rivers, growth compared to October last year was 2%, with 37.898 visitors, from Brazil and abroad.

Among Brazilians, those from Paraná led, followed by those from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais and Santa Catarina. Among foreigners, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Colombia and Paraguay were the main source markets.
