
Between April 18 and 21, the Holy Week, Easter and Tiradentes holidays, Foz do Iguaçu tourism expects to see a high demand for its attractions. In addition to Brazilians, Argentine and Paraguayan tourists will also be present in the tri-national region.

Research carried out by the Hotel Union (Sindhotéis) reveals that the Iguaçu hotel industry is already 87% of reservations for the period. Three-star hotels lead the list, with a rate of 93%.
To accommodate the flow of tourists, the Iguaçu National Park, the main attraction in Foz do Iguaçu, will open earlier between Friday (18) and Monday (21), from 8 am. In addition, extra editions of the Sunrise and Sunset at the Falls tours are scheduled.
Other attractions include live music at venues such as the Visitors Center and the Porto Canoas Space. Tickets, with day and time reservations, are available at www.cataratasdoiguacu.com.br.

The Three Borders Landmark will open earlier, at 11am, including on Monday. The site offers cultural attractions and an incomparable panoramic view of the meeting point between the three countries. Residents of Foz do Iguaçu have free entry.
At the Itaipu power plant, the Itaipu Panoramic tour, the most popular among visitors, will depart every 10 to 15 minutes, from 8:30 a.m. to 17 p.m. According to the hydroelectric plant, the Itaipu Especial and Refúgio Biológico tours will also receive reinforcements.

Tours in Paraguay and Argentina
In Paraguay, in Ciudad del Este, local businesses are usually closed on Easter Sunday. On the other days of the long holiday, the shops in the blocks near the Friendship Bridge, on the border with Foz do Iguaçu, will be open.
