Christmas at the Falls and the Tree of Life
Among the new features for Christmas at the Falls, the Iguaçu National Park will present the Tree of Life, a four-meter-high work inspired by the cecropia, a species native to the Atlantic Forest.
The tree will be adorned with elements representing the park's fauna and flora, handcrafted by the indigenous peoples, highlighting the integration between nature and local culture.
The structure will offer a space next to the trunk for photographs, inviting visitors to record this special moment. The work will be accessible daily in Iguaçu National Park.
Special high season opening hours
In addition to the Christmas attractions at the Falls, Iguaçu National Park will have extended opening hours during the high season at the end of the year and during school holidays.
From December 21, 2024 to January 31, 2025, the unit will open earlier every day, starting at 8 am. The last entry time will remain the same, at 16 pm. Tickets are sold online, at www.cataratasdoiguacu.com.br.
