The new phase interviewed travelers who were in the city between December 2024 and January 2025, the peak season for local tourism. The two previous phases, on the other hand, covered different periods of the year.
According to the organizers, the approaches took place at points such as the airport, bus station, Tancredo Neves Bridge and hotels in Foz do Iguaçu.
The survey only included tourists over 18 years of age, non-residents of the region and who remained in the city for at least three hours.
According to the methodology, the choice of sampling was based on data on the flow of visitors to the Falls in 2023.
The portal H2FOZ presents, in the graphs and paragraphs below, a summary of some of the main results of the study of tourist demand in Foz do Iguaçu. The reports are available in full at website from Itaipu Parquetec (click here to access the link direct).
