The images were recorded, late afternoon this Sunday (3), by a worker at the Iguaçu National Park, nurse Gabriela Izutani, and released by the concessionaire Urbia Cataratas, which manages the tourist services.
According to the material shared on the company's Instagram, Gabriela was about to finish her shift, around 18 pm, when she saw the second largest feline in the park (behind only the jaguar) walking along the banks of BR-469.
The stretch of just over ten kilometers of highway, located inside the park, has restricted access, being allowed only to registered workers and residents, whose vehicles receive GPS for individual control.
Tourist visits are made with the concessionaire's fleet, whose buses run between the Visitor Center and the stations along the way, with stops at places such as Macuco Safari, Trilha das Cataratas and Porto Canoas.
