If you have a flight scheduled for this Thursday (10) in Argentina, pay attention: companies are canceling or rescheduling scheduled departures and arrivals.

The “air blackout” will occur due to a national demonstration called by General Confederation of Labour (CGT), one of the main trade union entities in the country.
On the agenda are protests against President Javier Milei's economic policy and the withdrawal of workers' rights. The main demonstrations are scheduled for the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires, in places such as the square in front of the National Congress.
In a statement released to the press, Aerolíneas Argentinas, the largest airline in the country, reported the cancellation of 258 departures scheduled for this Thursday. The measure, according to the company, affects around 20 thousand passengers.
The canceled routes include 241 domestic flights, between airports in Argentina itself, and 17 international flights, including to destinations such as Brazil. Another 14 international flights were rescheduled to arrive or depart outside the strike hours.
JetSmart has announced the cancellation of “all domestic flights scheduled for Thursday. On the other hand, we have confirmed international flights, with only adjustments to schedules and airports.”
Flybondi announced that it has relocated most of its flights to Ezeiza International Airport, the airport least affected by the strike. Latam has canceled or rescheduled all flights scheduled for April 10 in Argentina.
Puerto Iguazú International Airport, on the Argentine side of the border, receives flights from three airlines: Aerolíneas Argentinas, JetSmart and Flybondi.
Train between Argentina and Paraguay
The protest on Thursday (10) will also affect rail services. Thus, the international train that connects Posadas (Argentina) and Encarnación (Paraguay) will only resume service on Friday (11).
Buses (short, medium and long distances) tend to be maintained in most of the country, according to announcements issued by entities in the sector.
