According to Itaipu Parquetec, the agreement aims to promote studies and surveys for the modernization of the management and operation of public airports located in the state of Paraná.
The initiative will prioritize, for example, the search for sustainable, efficient and innovative solutions for regional aviation, one of Brazil's logistical bottlenecks.
“We have a fantastic opportunity in this union between Infraero and Itaipu Parquetec”, highlighted Rogério Barzellay, president of Infraero, at the formalization ceremony.
According to Barzellay, the partnership focuses on strengthening regional aviation, facilitating the population's access to air transport. The improvement in infrastructure will facilitate, among other things, the movement of people in critical health situations.
“The idea is really that we can join efforts, resources and people, and make this protocol a success not only for Paraná, but for all of Brazil”, he emphasized.
Irineu Colombo, managing director of Itaipu Parquetec, highlighted the convergence of purposes between the institutions and the potential to generate solutions.
“We entered this sector with our sights set on developing business, technologies and solutions,” he said. “We have the technology and creativity to think, design and create. And, thinking bigger, we want to fly with you.”
Located in Foz do Iguaçu, Itaipu Parquetec has structures such as incubators for business development, bringing together specialists from different sectors.
Infraero currently manages 25 airports throughout Brazil, also providing support to state and municipal institutions.
