Next week, on June 24th, 25th and 26th, Visit Iguassu will promote a roadshow in three cities in Argentina: Córdoba, Rosario and Buenos Aires. The institute's leisure sector will organize and execute the event with the aim of offering sales training for Destination Iguaçu.

The event is aimed at travel agents and tour operators, with the aim of presenting the attractions, new developments and opportunities of the destination. In addition, the events strengthen strategic connections between participants and local companies that sell tourism products and services.
In total, during the three days, the initiative is expected to bring together approximately 300 guests. In alignment with associated companies, Visit Iguassu will hold 14 workshops in strategic destinations this year. However, the team chose these locations because they are potential sources of tourists to Foz do Iguaçu.
Model of roadshow from Visit Iguassu
In the Latin American market, Visit Iguassu adopts a different event model from that practiced in Brazil. The format consists of business rounds between invited agents and associated companies, during a breakfast served in hotels in the chosen cities.

Opportunity
According to Maira Dalcin, MICE and Visitors manager at Visit Iguassu, workshops represent an essential strategy to promote Destination Iguaçu, allowing travel agents and tour operators to directly learn about the attractions, news and opportunities in Foz do Iguaçu.
“In addition to strengthening sales, these meetings expand the network of contacts, encourage partnerships and contribute to attracting groups of tourists, which favors the sustainable growth of tourism in the region,” he explains.
In this sense, the president of Visit Iguassu, Jaime Mendes, adds that these opportunities value the diversity and quality of the destination's tourist offer, in addition to bringing the trade location of professionals who sell Brazil abroad.
Finally, he highlights that “this direct connection with agents and operators is essential to expand results, generate business and consolidate Foz do Iguaçu as a complete destination, prepared to receive more and more visitors”.
