Iguaçu National Park will have special opening hours this Sunday (18)

Due to the 16th Cataratas Half Marathon, this Sunday (18), the Iguaçu National Park will have different opening hours. The conservation unit will open at 12 pm and allow visitors until 16 pm.

Initially, athletes will be able to enter the park from 4:30 am to guarantee their presence at the event. Then, companions will board from 6:30 am, upon presentation of a ticket.

To speed up your visit, you can purchase tickets in advance at website of the Iguaçu Falls (cataratasdoiguacu.com.br), according to available times.

Running operation

From 4:30 a.m. to 11:59 a.m., the park will be open exclusively for the Half Marathon. The park administration will transport athletes within the conservation unit from 4:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m., and companions from 6:30 a.m. to 7 a.m.

The organizers will divide the race into two categories: Half of the Falls, with 21km, and the Challenge of the Falls, with 8km. The return after the race will start at 10:30 am. Certainly, an unforgettable experience!

Ticket for companions

Anyone wishing to access the park to watch the athletes must purchase a ticket as a companion and go to the boarding platform at the Visitor Center. From there, transportation to the starting point will depart at 6:30 a.m.

The companion ticket can be purchased by website tickets.cataratasdoiguacu.com.br/promo/16MMC2025. In addition, it is also possible to purchase tickets at the self-service terminals at the Visitor Center.
